A new mode of transportation is in use by the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center’s (WWRC) Physical Plant Services (PPS) Department; 3-wheel industrial tricycles. In the current budget environment, state employees are not receiving cost of living adjustments to offset the impacts of inflation. Hold state contracts to the same standard that we are holding employees. In other words, For multi-year contracts that allow cost escalations (these escalations are usually based on the percentage change in the applicable Consumer Price Index), don't increase the contract price. This will save the Commonwealth money in the short term which is the immediate need. (8 votes) |
