AMTRAK AUTO train for cars -- Great idea, badly implemented

I know AMTRAK is not a Virginia agency, but the  AUTO TRAIN is a fabulous idea.  Tourists drive up, have their car loaded on the train, then travel in leisure down to Florida or whereever.  They can get up and walk around, stretch their legs, go to the dining car, get sleeping cabins if they want, while someone else does the driving, and they don't have to use gasoline at high prices.  Meanwhile, it takes cars off the road and removes congestion.  TROUBLE IS  the pick-up points for the AUTO TRAIN are not convenient.  The locations and schedules are badly-designed (like most mass transit) and inconvenient for tourists and travelers.  Therefore it doesn't work.

so, let's improve it

Let's make it better.

Let's add a location or two, maybe one in Loudon/Fairfax area.  (Philadelphia, Baltimore, NJ and NY also need stations.)
