So here's my solution to the Illegal Immigration problem in the state of Virginia and the United States as a whole.
Step 1: Offer a 6 month amnesty period to illegal immigrants, allowing them to complete an accelerated U.S. citizenship program during this time leading to legal status.
Step 2: After the 6 month amnesty period passes, any business that is caught willfully employing illegal immigrants will be fined 75% of their net revenue for the year.
Step 3: Any illegal immigrant that is arrested by local police will be held for custody transfer to the U.S. Border Patrol for IMMEDIATE deportation.
Step 4: "Sanctuary Cities" that are discovered to be willfully harboring illegal immigrants will be penalized through the revocation of state and federal funding for local programs and/or fines.
Step 5: Stop offering DMV testing in multiple languages. The road signs are not in multiple languages. If you want driving priviledges in the state of Virginia LEARN ENGLISH. Offering driving tests in multiple languages ENCOURAGES illegal immigrants to attempt to obtain driving priviledges.

I like this except for the driver's license part
I don't care if someone can speak English in order to be able to drive. I want them to be able to drive and know what is required to do so. If you make it too difficult to get licensed, folks will drive without getting a license. There are a lot of traffic laws and safety information in the driver's license test that I want folks I share the road with to know. If it requires that we give the test in other languages to convey that information, that is ok with me.
Illegal Immigrants
What part of Illegal is not understood. They are illegal, they have broken laws and are using our tax paid services. Send them back.
Well, true, but there's more to it than that...
I agree that deportation is a good solution, but it provides more problems than benefits. If we ship them back, they've gotten here before, and they probably know how to get across again, maybe this time with friends and family. Each time we deport them, we're only multiplying the problem.
