While speaking with a friend, an idea came up. He was grieved due to the fact that his finances were short. He told me if only he could recieve his gross paycheck for one month out of a year, he could get himself out of financial debt. We will call this month, the Jubulee Month, in which during that month a person would recieve his gross paycheck without any deductions. This would preferably be the month of his birthday, of which his emplyer would have record of. During this month, a person would be inspired to work as much as possible and also increase his productivity due to the fact that he knew during this month he could recieve his gross paycheck. He would then pay taxes for the remainder of the year. At the end of the year, the average person recieves tax returns. These would be less due to the fact that he would be putting less money in. So I feel like this would not strain the tax base. I've presented this idea to many people and they agree. Just suppose your birthday fell around Christmas? You could use the money to buy Christmas gifts, and therefore help the economy. If your taxes were due, or your insurance, or any other bill, you could use the money to help you pay your debt.
