Please inform the public what the purpose of the Virginia Employment employee role is. 

When assistance is needed they mostly tell you to go to the website.  The answer is on the website. Sign up for the website.  When the employees are not aware of is that when a person enters their premises requesting help they do not want to be directed to a machine, they want the assistance of a person being paid with our tax dollars.  The VEC website should also be an instrument used by the person working for the VEC and an additional aid of the prospective employee.  Their job used to be to help people of the Commonwealth find gainful employment.  If the employees sitting at all the VEC offices only want people to visit their website I wonder what they think their purpose is. If it is not to help the people of the Commonwealth gain employment then they need to seek employment elsewhere or we need to do away with the cost of the offices and just have everyone go to the website as directed and save the taxpayers a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$
