A new mode of transportation is in use by the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center’s (WWRC) Physical Plant Services (PPS) Department; 3-wheel industrial tricycles. It is frequently necessary for PPS staff to traverse the WWRC campus to inspect daily maintenance work, construction projects and review facility issues. Since a number of vehicles within the PPS fleet are approaching 20 years of age with even older models already retired due to increased maintenance costs, and considering the current operating budget, it was determined to try a new m (4 votes) |

In order to address the numerous problems presented by lack of term limits, I propose implementing a system in which, for each successive term, the incumbent in a specific position would need greater than a simple majority to win reelection. Such additional required amount for reelection would be determined as follows: 1% per year served in such position (to a maximum of 15% - or 65% required to win reelection). There should be limits on such sponsorships of course such as having sponsorships in good taste. |

Eliminating the front license plates and stickers from vehicles would save, obviously, one half of the current state expense for these items. I'm not suggesting a reduction in the registration fee(s), but simply do away with the front plate and sticker. If memory serves me correctly, Virginia is one of only 4 to 5 states to use a front plate. MD and DC do, but all our other neighboring states and beyond do not. Having two plates for one vehicle makes no sense, the use one of the plates on an unregistered vehicle or affixing one set of the sti |
